Kizuna Japanese Restaurant

Father's Day is coming soon! And I'm blogging about Mother's Day. :D It was the right time when Mother's Day came, I was having my study break! :D

We brought our mommy to this restaurant!



Kizuna Japanese Restaurant.

Actually I was craving for Japanese food as well, so it was a win-win situation

Me and my bro got down first, as there were no parking. And to our horror, the manager said we need to book. Luckily for us, he said that there's one table who will be leaving soon and asked us to wait awhile. :D

We got our table and ordered. And I think we waited for around 40 minutes, =____________=

My family and I were so hungry that we began drinking ocha non stop. Luckily it was refillable.



We waited and waited, my brother's order came first.



This Ebi Tempura rice comes with a tiny plate of fruits with comprises one piece of watermelon and honeydew. No picture, I ate it before I remembered to take picture. :D But who would want to see a piece of watermelon or honeydew anyway? XD

After that, this came!



It was delicious! Dipped in the brown sauce provided, yum yum. But I burnt my tongue. Ate too fast. >_< src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v48/weiyun/P5110066.jpg" border="0">

Tragedies

Was browsing the papers this morning where the front page was all about the earthquake in China. Thousands of people have died, many were missing, and trapped under buildings. It was a pitiful sight that makes you wonder, "Hey, I'm lucky that I'm not affected."

First it was the Myanmar's cyclone, then it was the China earthquake.



The point I wanna make is, Mother Nature is angry of the people.

Look at the amount of pollution, look at the amount of trees being cut down, look at the open fires, isn't it time to change?

Development is important, but are we gonna destroy everything for our own selfish reasons? Although we are the so called supreme species over the others, but does it give us rights to exploit them?

It is like as if, a super rich man is making full use of the poor just because the richer one has power over the others. But does it give the rich a right to condemn and exploit the poor? Both are humans.

And both humans and the nature are living things created by God. We are supposed to live harmoniously, and not one species taking advantage over the others. Do we really want more tragedies to happen? Do we want tragedies to struck each country, one by one?

Do we wanna destroy our earth?

Think about it.

Around a month ago, after settling all the funeral procession for my grandpa, our whole family went to this restaurant to have a meal.



Situated right in the heart of Kampar, many people often visit this restaurant. I remember coming here a few years ago to celebrate my late grandpa's birthday. :( The food was quite okay to me the last time I ate there, but now, to my horror, the quality is like a banana pancake smashed onto the floor.



As usual, the garlic, chili, yadda yadda. I never touch all these, don't dare to try. :D



Don't really like this either. I'm just not a peanut person. :D

Anyway, my main point is, the quality of food here decreased tremendously.



You must be wondering, how could a plate of steamed vege go wrong? But NoOooOOooO, it was so oily and tasteless at the same time I wondered how the chef cooked it. It's just a plate of steamed vege and it doesn't taste like one at all.



Next, some good o' pork ribs. Once again, it was superbly oily. T_T And it doesn't have the aroma nor the taste.



Even the prawns failed. FAILEDDDDDDDDDDDDD. :( Too oily and the prawn doesn't seemed fresh. =/ My brother who loves prawns all along ate only 2. Tsktsk.



Fish! The fish was soaked in oil. No taste. And the meat was not fresh. T_T

I think my mom who does not really know how to cook do better. I think Chingy also can do better!



WHY STILL SO MANY PEOPLE? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?

I hate today, literally.

Today I had the worse day ever. But it's alright now as I'm in Ipoh already. Home is always nice. Let me bore you with my grandmother story, but please please entertain me. :D

I was supposed to follow a friend back to Ipoh but I need to meet him in Sunway Pyramid. So my another friend could fetch me, but she could not last minute. So I need to take a public transport to meet him, but as my another friend informed so late, I told him that I could not make it time, and I don't want to 'mafan' him and asked him to go back first, I'll be taking the bus back.

So off I went, reaching Taman Bahagia station, I called the Perak Roadways ticketing counter first before I buy my LRT ticket in case if the ticket sold off, I can straight away go to Pudu, and not going to Kelana Jaya LRT station.

I took the number from my roommate, and called, he said "Ya, ada tiket."

Happily I bought the ticket and went to Kelana Jaya station.

When I reached the ticketing booth, he told me no moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Imagine my frustration.

After that, I took the LRT again, and went to Masjid Jamek. Things were so far okay, I was happy, and bought ticket to Plaza Rakyat. Stupid Masjid Jamek all different now, I took the other platform and went to Bandaraya. T_T

Then I need to wait again, opposite this time to reach Plaza Rakyat.

After I reached Pudu, I went to Transnational, Konsortium, Sri Maju, Plusliner, all sold out! T_T

Was getting desperate, so went to a normal booth, and she told me tickets to Ipoh are now Rm20!

RM20!

RM20! @!#$#%^&(*^&%$#@!#$%^&*^&^%$E#@!#$%^&

Was desperate so I had to pay. She told me the bus is going off now, so I rushed to the platform, but the driver was not even there yet.

Waited for around 15 minutes, then hopped onto the bus. It was bigger and more comfortable than I thought. But RM20, I want to cry. Especially when I saw the original ticket wa RM13.35.

*Sniff*

Half an hour later only the bus moved. ROAR!

But now I'm in Ipoh, comfortably at home, I feel nice back. :)

I don't want something like this to happen again.
