3rd Consecutive Days

Today is the 3rd consecutive days staying up for assignments.

Tomorrow another and the, woohoo, presentation on Wednesday.

Today I went to Nuffnang for internship interview, not sure whether will I get it a not, as they have sufficient staffs already.

The office is real nice, orangy and all, very nice environment to work! :D

Will resort to letting my college to choose if I didn't get the offer though. I'm quite interested in Astro though, but it's a tooooo far from the place I'm staying now. Imagine waking up at ungodly hours just to take the public transport there.

Loved my Olympic presentation today! :D

So sorry.

LOL; today suddenly I felt, damn I really want a DSLR. Seeing really nice pictures taken by other people, you do not need to photoshop much, it's so cool you have your very own DSLR that you practically brings everywhere, which can be troublesome, but efficient.

Then I wondered, how am I gonna get so much money to get a DSLR for a novice like me. No matter how many freelance jobs I take, it wouldn't be enough. Grr.

But! But! But!

If I win this competition I can get one. =P

So those people out there who are trying to poison me to get one, vote for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Head on to www.foldees.com now! :D

Mine is the red red card, titled 'Decipher - Farewell'. =P

Have to register though, and it's random voting, but hope it would not be that troublesome right? Rightttt? :D

Arigatou Gozaimasu! :D

Ban?

Ban Avril Lavigne's show, demands PAS

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 — PAS has demanded the government ban pop superstar Avril Lavigne from performing in the country, saying that it would insult the Merdeka freedom fighters.

Kuala Lumpur Pas Youth chief Kamaruzaman Mohamad said the government should instead hold patriotic and civilised concerts as well as organise history-writing contests and historical exhibitions in conjunction with the 51st anniversary of the country's independence.

"If we allow the concert to proceed, it will be an insult to our freedom fighters," he said, according to harakahdaily.net.

He led the movement's exco members in handing over a protest note to Mayor Datuk Abdul Hakim Borhan and a Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry official here yesterday, demanding the ban on the concert by the Canadian pop sensation who is scheduled to perform at Stadium Merdeka on Aug 29.

The protest note also demanded that the Central Committee for Filming and Performance by Foreign Artists (Puspal) not issue the permit for the concert.

Last month the same Pas group was also responsible in preventing Indonesian dangdut sensation Inul Daratista from performing in the capital city, citing among the many reasons that her concert would have been too erotic and almost pornographic as well as capable of corrupting the minds of young Malaysians.

Inul's concert was cancelled despite Puspal's approval.

Citing its oft-quoted reasoning, Kamaruzaman said Lavigne's rock and punk elements were not suitable to be shown to Malaysia's young generation.

The 23-year-old Lavigne's show here is part of her world tour covering Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines and the United States.

The award-winning singer is known for her top hit songs such as “Girlfriend”, “Complicated” and “My Happy Ending”.

Her 2002 debut album “Let Go” sold more than 16 million copies internationally. At the age of 18, when she became a multiple winner of the Canadian music awards, she shocked the music industry when she criticised US President George W. Bush for the invasion of Iraq."

---

Funny how they can say that such concert is an insult to freedom fighters.

If this really happens, will there be another protest?

Will this friend of mine literally kill herself to death cause she's practically waiting for the concert and not to mention spending 300++ for the ticket?

Will the foreign artists not dare to come Malaysia any longer?

Will we have to listen to traditional music from tomorrow onwards?

:(

Don't want.

Bubba Gumps

Last few weeks, I went to Bubba Gumps: Shrimp Company, at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara to celebrate Linggi's birthday. :D

The whole place was packed, and we had to register ourselves to be on the waiting list before we can actually get a place to sit. I wanted to sit inside as well to get the 'feel'. Hahaha.

Around 30minutes later, finally we had a place.

The place is very cozy, with decorations just like the Forrest Gump movie. The whole place is pretty dim, and the lighting was not good enough for good pictures. Every picture turned out dark. But the whole ambient was there, along with waiters and waitresses who has the same style of dressing. Very 'sailor' like.

Significant quotes from the movie were everywhere, and I had fun reading it.

Aww..

I would so want my parents to see this. :D

Bubba Gump has a very special way of executing the service by the waiters.

This means you do not want to be attended, and the waiters can roam free. :P

While with this, you signal for the waiters to stop and attend to your every needs. :P

If you are feeling very hungry, do have some Jacob crackers for free.

There's special promotions for kids as well, and I though whoever who orders the kids promotion can get the items. There was this promotion where if you order that particular drink, you can bring home the glass for free. :(

But waaaa, it's only entitled to kids. Grrr. The glass was so cute! Each of the drink was RM18.99 I think. Grrr. *Rants*

The pink one is Strawberry + Lemon, while the blue one is Blueberry + Lemon. Pretty refreshing though.

The menu mostly covered shrimps, shrimps and more shrimps.

These are shrimp balls, whom I forgot the actual name because the name was too complicated to remember. :( There's corn inside the balls as well, and tastes pretty nice with the sauce provided. I like to eat these with tomato sauce though. :D They have Heinz tomato here!

This are fried shrimps which taste okay as well, and I forgot the name. Told ja the menu has weird and complicated names.

This is baked fish (Some special fish or so), with shrimps and mashed potatoes and some crispy long thingy poked on it. The mashed potatoes was awesome! :D Super soft and the gravy is just nice.

All three dishes are above RM25++ and it is not cheap to dine here.

A little birthday cake for birthday girl on that day. You had to shake your booty to get this. Hahaha.

Boohoo~

I cannot sign in into MSN :(

And I saw Sony Alpha promotion in KLCC, PC Fair yesterday! :(

Messaged my daddy, he didn't reply.

Double depression. :(

My Nation.

BEHOLD! MY NATION! RULED BY ME! HAHAHA.

(Lovely flag isn't it? ^_^)

1. The Nation of Niji-Iro Bus is commanded by Princess Chingy Chee.

(Of course it's ruled by me, my nation ma. :D And I'm the princess *Cough*)

2. This country has instilled a healthy fear of government which has secured Chingy Chee as life-long ruler.

(Muahaha, no politics freedom! Muahahaha! I'm the only ruler!)

3. Technology is at the forefront of scientific research and the nation flourishes with superior communication and means of production.

(Technology is important in my life, of course my nation is at the forefront. XD)

4. Advancement in medical practices has produced efficient health care practices, but only the privileged can afford the rising costs.

(I can't change the fact, if you want efficient health care, you need money right? T_T)

5. Life in Niji-Iro Bus is very safe due to the right of the police to randomly search private property.

(Haha! Randomly means surprises, means there's no time for the criminals to react! :D Smart move ain't it?)

6. This country is proudly guarded by a fleet of men wearing kilts and carrying giant pikes and hand grenades.

(What can I say, kilts + giant pikes + hand grenades = DEADLY.)

7. Citizens are allowed to privately practice any religion which is officially approved by the government.

(I do succumb to only forcing my people to hail to one religion. :D)

8. Education in Niji-Iro Bus is of great importance and vouchers are given to any student who cannot afford schooling.

(Vouchers, that's absolutely a great idea. :D Everybody needs education, whether they want it or not.)

9. Many citizens see a need to be eco-friendly and have started a coalition for the advancement of the 'tree hugger'.

(Go Greeeeen! Prevent global warming! Woohoo!)

10. Privatization of corporations and free market are new concepts developing in this country, and many feminist movements have butted heads with masculine movements, spurring this nation's first 'Peoplist Movement'.

(Err....)

Niji-Iro Bus nation is currently accepting new citizens. Sign up today! :D

Every citizen are entitled to rate for your Princess's card. *Cough*

I'll even throw in extra vouchers for education. *Cough*
