1. I am too lazy to search back my old post, get the link, yadda yadda yadda.
2. No lapp lapp(s) at my songkok snowman. T____________________________T He is soooo cute and nobody said it was adorable.

And pardon me for the sudden random babbling:

Achieveable things

1. Another Ikea table
2. Keyboard (Not sure if I really want this or not. O_O)

Tong Yuen Session

Yay it was the Winter Solatice Festival last, last Sunday. Fortunately my mom kept some of the Tong Yuen flour thingy for me! :D

So when I was back in Ipoh last week, I helped to make the tong yuen(s)! :D

Guess which tong yuen(s) I made? The square ones! We should not confine the tong yuen(s) to round ball balls. *Cough*

Was trying to build my name using tong yuen(s), but my mom was shouting that the water is boiling already. Managed to make C and H and I only. Grr.

LOOK! Snowman tong yuen(s)! Cute right? Huhuhu, and thanks to the square shaped tong yuen(s) I made earlier,

Here's a Snowman Tong Yuen with Songkok!

Woohoo!

Rain at Nuffnang

Edit: I WANT MORE TORA DORA! T______________________T

No; Nuffnang did not rain. Okay that sounded weird as well. Anyway, it was one fine day when everyone in the office are soothing on Tim Fm blasting 'Fall for You' by Secondhand Serenade through the speaker.

I think it was Secondhand Serenade. There's limited songs in Tim Fm =P

Then suddenly Firdy or Yat exclaimed, look outside the rain! The rain! It was all the way to the other side of the office though, and I grabbed my camera quickly as well.

I never knew rain look like that! O_O

It is like some cottony form of substance flying down from the clouds.

This is FTW!

Imagine raining at Sg Wang, but not raining at Time Square. D:

P/S: POWER FAILURE AGAINNN :(

P/S/S: Is my pictures a little too big? O_O

NEW LAYOUT!!!!111oneone

Hallo!

This is a totally different layout, and I lapp this alot! Like this much.

From here ________________________________________________________________ to here.

It is that much! And it can go further if not for the lack of space. :(

Compared to my previous layout, I believe this time, my blog can load much faster for I have removed so many things! :D

1. No more big ass huge banner that takes up half of my blog space.

2. No more shoutbox, it makes my blog looks neater. So, leave your comments k? :D

3. Removed YouthSay, gah, I do not want to say anymore on this.

4. Switched back to Blogger Commenting System.

5. Swtiched back to Twitter! I don't like Plurk Karma system seriously. And I am not happy with 0.00 Karma.

6. Removed all the miscellaneous buttons which serve no purpose at all.

7. No more ads in my blog!

8. I'm sorry, just joking. Nuffnang is still up no matter what! :D

9. No more entrecard! No idea why did I put it up in the first place. =____="

10. I love my new layoutttt! I spent two days okayy (Due to procrastination and power failure, and o2mania and watching dramas on the hdtv! It's addictive I tell you)

Testing Bold, Italic and Stroke now.

I iz Chingy! <- Bold

I iz Chingy! <- Italic

I iz Chingy! <- Stroke

And of the best change in this layout?

AUTO BORDERS ON PICTURES!!!111oneone

It is teh ultimate auto borders on some random anime screenshot! No more manually putting borders!

Now, I want a template that can edit pictures on its own!

P/S: Help me answer my poll, should I put back the chatbox?

On a Hiatus

1st time makan Nandos

I know, I know, I am the most outdated person in the whole KL. I had my first taste of Nandos a few weeks back ahaha. It was at the outlet in Jusco Wangsa Maju, and thanks to Sengfoo for bringing me there. XD

They had this set of Mushroom Soup and a cup of Coke for RM9.90, and the soup is lovely! I never had such find mushroom soup before! (Exxagerating :D) The soup is really thick and peppery huhuhu.

Oh oh! The set includes garlic bread as well. Quite nice la. Didn't finish it though.

I cannot remember food names well, but this dish above is some kebab chicken, with fries and potato salad as the side dishes. I love the potato salad! *Screams*

This is mine, 1/4 chicken, mild peri-peri with fries and coleslaw as the side dishes. Yums! Although it was a bit oily, but quite juicy with the herbs.

There's this really tall dish as well, but I lost the picture. It costs around RM20+ if I'm not mistaken. O_O!

Huhu, yellow? Orange? Or Green?

I must try the super hot one next time. :D

Salad 101 at Taylor's Booth

My sister had just finished SPM, and she’s all the way in Ipoh, and being herself, she is very unsure on what she wants to do, constantly replying the word ‘Don’t know’ whenever my parents and I ask her on what she wants to do. My mom who was so concerned about her asked me to help out. I agreed unwillingly.

I nearly got lost finding the entrance. T.T

Luckily there was NAPEI Education Fair held in Midvalley (OMG Midvalley so far T_T), and my god, the crowd is absolutely crazy. It was such a tiring week, and I dragged myself out of bed on Saturday morning, and boarded the bus alllll theeeee wayyyyy to Midvalley.

My sister loves to cook and bake, although she is not talented at all! (Joking haha!) When I was serving my National Service around 2 years ago, she cooked me something, some Mango Chicken Tomato dish, and I hate to admit it, it was pretty good! :D She is the one that is always pestering my parents to buy her oven so that she can bake loads of items!

I was walking aimlessly, searching for colleges that offer Culinary Arts.

Taylor's University College

I also knew that Taylor’s do offer culinary arts, and I stopped by at their booth. There were so many people receiving counseling already, and very attentive counselors were there to help if there are any questions.

Counseling in process

See that lady in black? She is the one that attended to me, answering all my questions patiently. Thumbs up! Her name is Ms Evelyn by the way. She was very busy and yet she made sure I understood everything before moving on to another person.

Taylor's offer professional courses such as Patisserie, Cake Decorating, Western and Eastern Cuisine, and also Wine and Spirit which I think my sister will love the Patisserie course very much. She can bake to her heart’s content ahaha.

Surprisingly, their School of Hospitality and Tourism had a live demo on spot, by their very own lecturer.

Chef Sonji, chef and lecturer from India

Before Chef Sonji demonstrated the art of salad dressing, he made some bread, and after spreading the cheese onto the bread, he actually melted the cheese using the burner right in front of us! He had an assistant as well, which is a student from Taylor’s, which is very professional as well.

A student from Taylor’s School of Hospitality and Tourism

I really like the picture on the right, he's like cutting the cabbage so fast!

Clearly he is very skillful, and demonstrated the process perfectly, while making jokes in between. Some things that I learnt during the live demo:

1. You only put one tablespoon of vinegar in equivalent to 1 spoonful of mustard.

2. To cut the cabbages easily, roll the cabbage before cutting.

Ahaha! Thank me for the tips people!

Some future students. =P

Evidently, if I am taking culinary arts, I don’t mind such a lecturer that is skillful and knowledgeable, yet able to communicate with the students. :D Will definitely ask my mother to bring my sister to Taylor’s for some counseling.

As I walked past the booth, there was the Taylor’s School of Design! I didn’t know Taylor’s offer design courses. O_O

Evelyn told me that this school is new. However, their courses have started and they have 3 main courses which are Multimedia Design, Graphic Communication Design, and Interior Design, and FIND OUT! This Design School’s campus is located in Sunway, and is very new! FIND OUT WHERE

A mini contest was at the School of Design booth as well, and all you have to do is just design the bottle label, and stand a chance to win iPod touch! Too bad I was rushing, and did not have a chance to join the contest. T_T

Taylor's School of Architecture, and some of the student's work.

I was very satisfied with their courses of Culinary Arts, but I surveyed around other colleges as well.
Coming to this education fair made me remember the time when I did not go to any when deciding my college, and made a wrong decision. It was a very bad decision, and I’m glad I left my previous college.

But I don’t mind finding out more what Taylor’s can really offer. :D

RM40 Fried Rice

I've been to this place twice, which is Shanghai 10 located in Avenue K, KLCC. And fuah, the first time I'm there with Nuffnang team, it was a great experience, keke. I don't really like durian dishes, but fuah! The durian pancakes there are must try! *Drools*

Shanghai 10 Shanghai 10 Shanghai 10!

Behold, food from Shanghai 10! (This is my 2nd visit there)

RM40 fried rice ZOMG.

This RM40 fried rice had some 'kei chi' (What do you call this in English?) in it, and it's yummy! :D

I can't remember dishes name well. :( But there's vege, carrots, mushrooms, fish, and really really nice gravy to go with the noodles.

SIU LOONG PAO! Believe it or not, this is my second time having Siu Loong Pao, and I love the soup in it! I heard Dragon I's SLP is very nice as well.

We did not have a chance in eating the durian pancake as it was sold out. :(

However, because of the quite pricy food, I will rather spend the money on Japanese food. XD

Halloween Night

I took this two pictures after Nuffnang Nokia Silent Halloween, from the entrance of Borneo Baruk Club.

Seriously, it was quite scary when I took this picture, although it was not exactly Halloween Day, I could not help to look at it.

Here's an edited version, I seriously think this could be used for some horror local made movie or something.

"Attack of the Twin Towers" or something. :P

WTFHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (Syiok Sendiri)

Coloring Contest

When I was young, I used to join coloring contest a lot, I still remember I have my very own table, a stool and set of Buncho crayons and Luna color pencils. My mom will usually be my chaperon as I join the coloring contest.

I helped out in the Nuffnang Friso Family Day Out last 2 weeks, and I must say, I truly enjoyed myself although I need to coordinate the winners and all. Looking at the children makes me happy! :D They were soooo cute I feel like pinching them. Although my stupid cheeks always make people pinch me instead, I'm 20 for goodness sake! =P Damn you cheeks!

I went to look around the coloring contest area as well, so many of them were coloring the Friso cartoon, along with the accompaniment from their parents.

So cute teehee! Reminds me of my mommy when I was still young.

Some really cute toddler, on the table while his sister is coloring the cartoon.

I went to the wall where the contestants' works are pasted, and wow, these really caught my eye. :D

Kancil Awards Entry

YAY this won us Bronze at the Kancil Awards!

YAY again!

Friday, December 5

I nearly cried today

Partly, it is my fault, but till now I had this feeling, like something sharp is poking my heart. If I had planned everything properly, I'll already be in the comfort of my home in Ipoh.

I was so stupid that I thought I could get a train back, see see, *Sigh* When I heard that there are no more tickets at all, my heart sunk till I think it went out of my body.

Next time I vow to own a bus company so that I can have a ride back to Ipoh whenever I want. :D It will be the greatest.

This is the truly the worse day of my life. I didn't close my water bottle properly, and when put into my water proof Crumpler laptop bag, it soaked my laptop adapter. I think it's 'sot sot dei' already. My laptop hard disk is not functioning well, as I encounter problems booting up my laptop at times.

*Notes to self: Pester daddy to buy new HDD promptly!*

Nevertheless, I booked a ticket home already, 5.30pm bus. And I miss Ipoh more than anything else. I think I have not seen my papa, mama, sister and the naughtiest brother of mine for nearly 2 months. O_O

Only 21 more hours to go. :D :D

I can do it :D :D

Part One: My Kancil Awards Journey

It all started when Vicky, the program coordinator in my college gave me a call, and she told me that I am shortlisted for the Kancil Awards!

I could not believe myself as I entered last year, but didn't get anything, not even peanuts. :(

So I was really really excited when I got the call. :D The registration for the Kancil Awards starts at 6.30pm to 7.00pm, and is located in Sunway Hotel.

This year's theme is Change the Game, which I think is a very nice theme. :D

Surprisingly, this year the security is kinda tight and it's like clubbing style, where you get a Kancil Chop on your hand.

The entry includes this, WOW! :D But I didn't go la. :D

Many works that are shortlisted were displayed, and I had fun looking at them. I even heard that Leo Burnett and Arc Worldwide submitted 52 entries! O_O!

Tidbits and drinks were served during before the ballroom is opened for the guest, and I met few of my classmates there as well. They came under their company, fully paid! Wow.

The student awards table number.

The ballroom! Complete with colors changing spotlights. With a huge stage in the middle. Absolutely beautiful. :D

Stay tune for Part 2 ya! :D Will be posting my entry at the finale teehee.
